Fall fishing bonanza

posted in: Fishing reports | 0

Hey y’all! While bow season for deer starts this weekend, don’t forget we have plenty of fishing time left enforce the cold air hits! While the cold air doesn’t necessarily stop you from fishing, right now the fish are putting on the feedbag to get fattened up for the long winter freeze!! Try areas at the mouths of creeks, tail water areas, and the mouths of coves on the lakes and work in towards the back. Be on the alert for fish breaking the surface chasing shad. Find the shad- find the fish!
Lures to try this time of year include inline spinners such as Mepps or rooster tails , grubs, shad body lures, flukes, poppers, Zara spook type lures, crank baits, and tail spinners like little George.
So get our and give it a whirl , the deer will wait!!
