Myrtle Beach Fishing Bonanza

A few weeks ago, my whole family here in Ohio, took a week long trip to North Myrtle Beach,SC, and had a great time!

Of course a trip to Myrtle wouldn’t be complete without a little fishing trip… Or Two!! The first trip we took was with Captain Smiley. He is one of the original inshore specialist in the myrtle beach area. There are several species you can target with him from Speckled Trout to Redfish! And you can take your wife and kids!. Now my advise to you about kids is they must understand what to do with a rod and reel without supervision. Otherwise you will not have a good time. Capt Smiley will do all the baiting and tying of  hooks and lures!  As well as removing the fish from the hook!

The second trip we took was an evening trip aboard The Pride of the Carolina’s , which is an 90 ft boat, we caught several fish on our outing, most were too short but fun just the same. This trip is not suitable for little kids MY OPINION

Check them out here!
